The church in 1715 by Jos\u00e9 de Porres and Diego de Porres. (Pardo, Zamora Castellanos, &amp; Lujan Mu\u00f1oz, 1969)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Architecture  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before the earthquakes, the church had three bodies: the first one was composed of three naves of five complete bays plus a kind of apse that corresponds to the presbytery. The second, by an octagonal window with its respective image. The third is a finial and a central niche flanked by two columns and baroque mixtilinear finials. (Mendoza Zepeda, 1986)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curious facts  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the earthquakes the building was abandoned, but was later used as a soap factory and sports complex.<\/p>\n<p>From the ruins of the Convent and the Church, material was extracted for the construction of other buildings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Function  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At present, the entire complex is in ruins and functions as a tourist attraction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours of operation  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\u00aa.
